Signing up for Safe Birth Prep equips you with the knowledge and tools for a positive pregnancy and birth experience.

Safe Birth Prep is designed to help everyone feel confident in their ability to give birth while being an active participant in their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Everyone deserves safe, evidence-based care with safe birth outcomes. Unfortunately, Black and Brown birthers, and other marginalized groups, face increased risks during and after pregnancy. This course is designed to provide you with tools, information, and confidence to help you have a positive pregnancy and birth experience.

Doula Support

In addition to Safe Birth Prep, we offer birth and postpartum doula support. Working with a birth doula is an excellent way to increase the likelihood of a positive birth experience. Working with a postpartum doula allows you to be supported, in your own home, while you adjust to life with a new addition.

Comprehensive In-Person or Private Childbirth Education

Safe Birth Prep is a FREE go at your own pace childbirth preparation course. However, if you are someone who learns better with hands on instruction, discussion, etc., we offer in-person classes through the Maternal Wellness Center and private childbirth education virtually or in your home (within a 30-minute radius of Abington, PA).
